Vessels on base

Vessels on Base is a composition of forms which, like much of my work, can be arranged and rearranged. Made from the materials historically associated with tableware: silver, nickel silver, pewter and copper, the piece speaks simultaneously of the domestic table with forms that contain things to eat or drink and architectural forms that contain the wider comings and goings of people. It seeks to comment on the gap between the different objects and forms that we encounter within the domestic and public spheres through which we journey everyday.
